The Chaligne lodge is the product of the renovation of a typical mountain hut made of stone and wood, with particular attention to the eco-environmental aspect and respect for the pre-existing architecture, largely reusing local materials.

The furniture is partly made of wood derived from decontamination work in the area and treated with eco-friendly products.

The lodge is equipped with solar panels to guarantee an ecological production of hot water as well as a heating system for the cooler months. The interiors are furnished with taste and love for the local tradition.

There are plenty of hiking trails on the surrounding peaks and the hut is an unmissable stop on the Tour du Mont Fallère.  You can make interesting visits to the alpine pastures, following guided itineraries that allow guests to observe and learn about the agricultural environment and the production of Fontina AOC cheese.

CUISINE

The restaurant serves traditional Valdostan dishes and products, with particular emphasis on dairy products from the local mountain pastures.
